Artificial turf that drains and lasts
Artificial turf stays green all year without mowing, watering or fertilizer. It is a strong choice for shady spots where grass will not grow, high-traffic areas used by kids and pets, small yards, and modern designs like the turf-and-paver grid shown on this page.
Like a patio, turf is only as good as its base. We remove existing sod, grade the area, install and compact a crushed stone base so water drains through, then roll out the turf, seam it, secure the edges and add infill. A properly built base prevents puddles, wrinkles and soft spots.
Landscaping that ties the yard together
Landscaping is what makes hardscaping feel finished. We install planting beds around patios and walls, add shrubs and perennials suited to Southern Maryland, refresh beds with edging and mulch, and handle seasonal cleanups that clear leaves, overgrowth and debris.
We also handle grading and drainage corrections, topsoil and seed, and sod where a natural lawn is the better fit. Many projects combine turf in one area with planted beds and a paver patio in another for a balanced, low-maintenance yard.
Planning a low-maintenance yard
If you want a yard that looks good without weekends of upkeep, we can help you plan where turf, pavers, mulch beds and plantings make the most sense. The goal is a yard that handles Maryland weather, drains properly and suits how your family uses it.

Turf & Landscaping FAQ
How do you maintain artificial turf?
Turf needs very little care: remove leaves and debris with a leaf blower or rake, rinse occasionally, and brush high-traffic areas to keep the fibers standing. Pet areas benefit from periodic rinsing.
Does artificial turf get hot in summer?
Turf can get warmer than natural grass in direct sun. Lighter-colored products, certain infills and a quick rinse can help. We can talk through options for sunny areas.
Is artificial turf good for dogs?
Yes. With a properly draining base, turf holds up well to dogs and avoids muddy patches. Regular rinsing keeps it clean.
How long does artificial turf last?
Quality turf commonly lasts many years depending on product, sun exposure and use. Manufacturer warranties vary by product.
Do you do seasonal cleanups?
Yes. We handle spring and fall cleanups, bed edging and mulch, and overgrowth removal across our service area.
